Mark I hope you keep writing. You are in a unique position to be considering the place of death in our cultural mind. Probably religious ritual as it impacts on the human brain does help us find solutions - albeit temporarily - to the fear of death. Looks like religion and bio-medicine are now joined at the hip in this regard. Perhaps life and love - like matter - can neither be created or destroyed which makes it uncreated and eternal. Maybe our whole perception of what death is needs to change. Thanks for your stimulating thoughts. Your comment will be posted after it is approved.
